This is my 1st posting on my 1st try at blogging! I have felt terrible that we have not kept our web site updated over the past two years. I'm going to try blogging since I like "words" and it will allow me to post pics as well. I think this will work. Plus, I am trying it on my own without Tom's help. :)
Here is my life at the moment with my boys... my boys being my wonderful husband, Tom, my oldest son, Andrew, my middle son, Braden, and my two year old son, Colton! I am truly blessed! This pic was taken on Valentine's Day! What a great day! For one, I love all holidays and birthdays and this day was just one of those good days. :) I had my friend, Barb, watch Colton for 9 hours so I could be with Braden on his field trip to Pump it Up and then run an errand, BY MYSELF, and then back to Andrew's Valentine's party. Colton had an awesome day playing with his beloved "Grandma Barb" (who he prays for at night) and his friend Ryan and Jack. I tried playing with Braden on all the inflatables and he was just too fast. He would be on to something else before I finished a slide. I did get applause for my sliding abilities by some of the moms. :) I tried racing him on the obstacle course and he lapped me! It is awesome when I have one-on-one time with the boys. It is great to watch them interact with their classmates and of course I love visiting with the other parents. For dinner that night we ordered Papa John's heart shaped pizza and played the new Star Wars Lego Wii game that Tom and I got the boys' for Valentine's Day! It is so much fun to be all together! I got a lovely card (with words!) from Tom and flowers and balloons from all my boys. Tom also had the boys draw me pictures and Andrew had a fantastic poem! Tom and I ended the day together on the couch watching our favorite, “LOST”!
God is good all the time, but you gotta love it when he blesses you with great days!
